Board Development
Assist with ensuring effective board processes, structures and roles, including retreat planning, committee development, and board evaluation. Assist with identifying needed board member skills, maintains a list of and suggests potential board members, develops and maintains new board members orientation and training material and orients new members.
Qualifications: Committee members should have a background in
- Non-profit board development
- Strategic planning
- Organizational strategy
- Other related field
Time Commitment: The time commitment for a Board Development Committee member will vary. Expect a time range of 8-12 hours per year. Committee membership is for one year.
