Event Descriptions

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater
Date: April 2013
Location: Barnaby's of Havertown
Attendees: Over 175 in 2 nights
Murder Mystery guests delight in an evening of mystery, intrigue, and murder! Attendees enjoy hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dessert, select complimentary beer, and a cash bar.  

Friends of HTFL 2013 Garden Tour
Date: June 2013
Location: Beginning at the Historic Grange Estate
Attendees: Over 100
A chance for neighbors to look over the garden fence and peek into the secret gardens of Haverford Township. Ticketholders tour 6-8 private gardens and then return to The Grange where there will be a reception, presentation, and tour of the Grange gardens.

Dig Into Reading Kids Summer Reading Club
Date: June 17-August 9, 2013
Location: HTFL
Club Participants: Over 800 children
Program Attendees: Approximately 3,800+ children and adults
Summer 2013 will host eight-weeks of reading and library fun through the Summer Reading Club for children of all ages. Help kids avoid the summer setback in skills by keeping them reading. The Library engages participants with reading incentives and hands-on programs large and small. 

3rd Annual Business Breakfast
Date: September 2013
Location: HTFL
Attendees: Over 100
Local business people are invited to network and learn more about the free business resources available right here at the Library. 

Open the Book Celebration & Silent Auction
Date: October 2013
Location: Llanerch Country Club
Attendees: Over 80
Join the Library Board of Trustees, staff, and supporters as we celebrate the Library. Enjoy cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction brought to you by the Friends of HTFL. We will honor local community members who help strengthen the Library and further its mission.

Ready to Become a Sponsor?

Please sumbit your Sponship Response Card and payment to the library. You can either download the response card and mail it in or make an online payment. 

If you would like to make your sponsorship payment online, please visit our secure Online Giving page. 

  • Select "Undesignated" in the Donation/Gift section.
  • Fill in the following appropriate information.
  • In the comments section, please include that the donation is for a Library Sponsorship.
  • Finally, please fax (610-853-3090) or email your sponsorship response card to the Library so we can gather that information.
Please download the Sponsorship Response Card and return it to the Library with your check.
