Tea and Stitch 

Enjoy some tea and light refreshments while working on your sewing, knitting, or other projects. This program brings all ages together who enjoy the needle arts.  Beginner or experienced, don't miss this extraordinary program!   Program is held every Friday at 10:00 am.  Held in the Board Room. Computer How-to

A monthly computer seminar exploring practical uses for the Internet.  Previous topics have included how to find new books and authors, how to find new recipes, and how to find local events. Annual

Annual Book Sale

The Friends of HTFL hold an annual booksale to benefit the library.  The Book Sale is held in the fall and spans an entire weekend.  If you'd like to donate materials to be sold at the Book Sale, please review our donation policy here before stopping by the library. For more information about the Friends or to download a membership form, visit the Friends website by clicking here.   

Business Breakfast

Last year, the library hosted its first annual Business Breakfast. The library invited local small business owners and professionals to explore HTFL's business resources.  Attendees learned ways in which the library can benefit their business and how we can work together to improve our community. 

Murder Mystery

Each year, the library, in conjunction the residents of Haverford Township, perform an original theatrical production.  For more information or to get involved with the upcoming Murder Mystery, contact the Reference Department at 610-446-3082 x201 or by email.

Summer Reading for Adults

From June to August of each year, the library sponsors a summer reading program for adults. Members read  books of their own selection and submit small forms for each title read.
