A note from the Director:

A Note from the Director:

You can’t help but think of family and friends at this time of the year, and on behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Staff of HTFL, the Friends of HTFL, and our many volunteers, I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving.  After the events of the last month in hurricane ravaged areas of the east coast, it makes one particularly introspective about home and family.  I thank those of you involved in public safety and security-Police, Fire, and Medical Personnel; I thank all of our troops and service personnel who put themselves in harm’s way for their country; government officials and workers; and many more who provide service to us each and every day.

I thank you for your constant support, great suggestions, but especially your consideration and use of HTFL; you have helped to make our library a wonderful place for information, programs, education, technology, or just for a visit.

We will close at 6:00 PM on Wednesday evening, and be closed on Thursday and Friday to celebrate the holiday, reopening for service on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM.

Christine Faris, Library Director

In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Library will close early on Wednesday, November 21 at 6:00 pm.  We will reopen on Saturday, November 23 at 10:00 am.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Come enjoy HTFL's collection of Anime DVDs and Blu-Rays! Anime is the term used for all animation made in Japan. Finding their stride in the 1960's with anime such as Astro Boy, it would take until the 1980's for the medium to become more widespread. Now with releases anticipated around the world, Anime has captured the attention of all ages.

In the Teen Anime collection the viewing material is appropriate for ages 13 and up. Throughout the Collection there are a range of movies and television shows that appeal to fans of every genre. For fans of magic, try Full Metal Alchemist. If you like adventure, give One Piece a try. Then again, if you're a fan of futuristic science fiction apocalyptic western action, Trigun is for you.
