A Note from the Director:

In the coming issues, the HTFL Connection will focus on library collections and services.  There may be services we offer you are unfamiliar with, e.g. obtaining a book from another library and the process of requesting library materials.  Or, we might highlight a specific collection that you never knew we had-see below for Book Club in a Bag.

Thank you, as always, and if you have any questions, comments or concerns, please contact me.

Christine Faris-Library Director

Children will learn as they participate in fun, hands-on science activities and experiments. The course for 2012 is Physical Science/ Electricity. It is comprised of four 45 minute classes given over the course of a week. It will be taught by certified science teachers to groups of 16 students in two age groups: those entering Grades 2 and 3 (Level I) and those entering Grades 4-6 (Level II). In libraries where registrants outnumber the allowable group size, a lottery will be held to select participants.
