Parenting Film Series

Race to Nowhere - Tuesday, October 1st, 7pm

Contains stories of young people across the country who have been pushed to the brink, educators working hard to prepare students for college while struggling with burn out, and parents who are trying to do what’s best for their children.

Bully - Tuesday, October 22nd, 7pm

A 2011 documentary film about bullying in U.S. Schools.  Directed by Lee Hirsch, the film follows the lives of five students who face bullying on a daily basis.

Please stay for a community discussion after each film.

The  film series is free and open to the public and will be held at Haverford Middle School.  Community members, students, parents, teachers, and school administrators are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The film series is made possible through a partnership between the Haverford Township Free Library, the Haverford Township Adult School, and the School District of Haverford Township.
