Innovative Day was celebrated earlier this month and today in Lego Club, we discussed what it meant to be innovative! Technically, we're innovative every week we realized as we're constantly creating something new! We built inventions today, old ones and new ones, that included hotels with every luxury, walking mailboxes, jelly bean machines, and more!
Come out and join us next week to see what our next challenge will be!
This past week, Ferris Wheel Day was celebrated. Going off of that topic, today we built our own versions of a variety of amusement park rides. Would you dare ride any of these creations below?
We had our largest group yet today! Come out and join us next week so we can hit a new milestone! Enjoy the last weekend in February!
Love was in the air at today's lego club! Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, it seemed fitting that we create our own versions of valentines. Some created sweet shops and others made lego hearts. There was even a love boat and some sweet messages for us to read! Check them out below:
Hope everyone has a nice Valentine's Day and an even better Presidents' Day weekend! See you next week!
Hello there lego clubbers! Today, we celebrated a key literary figure through our lego designs. Robinson Crusoe Day took place on Friday, February 1 so we created items that could find themselves on a deserted island. The results were quite impressive: a shipwrecked pirate ship, dune buggies, caves to take shelter in, a dancing pirate and much more! Take a look below:
Hope to see you all again next week!
What a heat wave we have today! Ironically, today's Lego Club theme coincided with the week-long celebration that started today and runs through February 3 of National Snow Sculpting Week. Since there wasn't any snow on the ground for us to sculpt with, we decided to build our own snow creations with legos! Check them out below:
Hope to see more of you next week!
