Computer Classes

The library does not have regular computer classes scheduled at this time.  However, we do provide one-on-one introductory lessons through our Book-A-Librarian program in order to help build basic digital literacy skills.

Common lessons include introductions to:

  • Borrowing library eBooks and eMagazines
  • Email 
  • the Internet
  • iPad or Kindle Fire
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Publisher)

In addition, there are many wonderful tutorials available online. Here are some of our favorites:

Mouse Practice

Typing Practice

For practice on iPads and iPhones try Typing Web (registration is offered, but not required).

Microsoft Office 2016

GCF Learn Learn Free offers many easy to use tutorials on computer basics, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
