Friends of the Grange, The Community Partner Award

The Friends of the Grange are this year's Community Partner Award winner. The award will be accepted by their President, William P. Penn.

The Friends of the Grange have worked closely with the Friends of the Haverford Township Free Library on their annual Garden Tour for several years. With the help of the Grange. The annual Garden Tour begins and ends at the Grange Estate; the Grange hosts a tour of their own garden and the closing reception.

The Friends of the Grange’s mission is to preserve and promote local history. The Grange Estate reflects the history of the
community since 1682, and, therefore its preservation,
restoration and promotion of the property are vital to an
appreciation of our American heritage in the Township of
Haverford.

As an historic site in the Township, the Friends of the Grange
coordinate and participate in many programs throughout the year - Estate tours, Heritage Day, Haverford Township Day,
Savor the Flavor with local restaurants, and Holiday Tours of the decorated Mansion and a model train display!
