Calling all fans of Lola the Therapy Dog!

Thursday, September 17 @ 10:15am (in lieu of Circle Time)

Join us to meet Marcia Goldman  right here in the Children’s Room at HTFL!  Marcia's third picture book in her Lola series, Lola and Tattletale Zeke, is about “telling” vs. “tattling.”  How do you deal with tattletales? When should you tell on someone? Lola struggles with her little brother Zeke and his tattletale behavior in this adorable follow up to Lola Goes to Work.

Children’s Book World will be on hand with copies of her books available for purchase and to be autographed/paw printed!

No registration required.


Allie the Alligator 

Tuesday, September 22nd @ 10:15am (in lieu of Circle Time)

Visit with Eagle Crest Dentistry and Allie the Alligator who will teach kids about dental hygiene and good foods and bad foods for their teeth with games and fun! 

This program is free and open to children of all ages.  No registration is required.


Fire Prevention Week Storytime 

Monday, October 5 @ 10:15am 
(in lieu of Movers and Shakers)

Meet fire fighters from the Brookline Fire Company and learn about fire safety.

Our fire fighters will show children their equipment, talk about fire safety, and have fun giveaways.

This program is free and open to children of all ages.  No registration is required.

Can you believe that we are halfway through Summer Reading Club? We are in week 4 and have 284 readers registered with a total of 89,901 minutes read so far!  Keep up the good work!  

It's not too late to sign up for Summer Reading Club for readers ages 2- entering 5th grade.  Pick up your Activity Log at the Children's Room desk and start reading to earn prizes!
