We are proud to host local parent and author Dr. Robert Zeitlin, who will be running a mini-workshop at the Library to explain why parents are superheroes in disguise. Robert and his wife Betsy have raised two children in our community and Robert has been committed to raising the bar for parents, which he calls "the most important and under-appreciated job in the world."
He will share his secrets with us to parenting with more laughter and how to embrace your parenting superpowers. Come hear Robert share stories from his new book Laugh More, Yell Less: A Guide to Raising Kick-Ass Kids. He will have copies of his book on sale at the event.
Robert has worked with the Library to support parents in our community for the last several years. He led a discussion after the documentary "Race to Nowhere," ran a book club on Kenneth Ginsburg's "Raising Resilient Children and Teens," and led a knock-out program and exclusive follow-up webinar on how to raise "Happy, Healthy, and Independent Boys" last fall at the Haverford Middle School.
