First Friday Flick - Grown Ups

Stop by the library Friday, December 3rd at 7pm for a free screening of Grown Ups, starring Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Rock and Salma Hayek. Five childhood pals are drawn back together after the death of their former basketball coach; over the course of a Fourth of July weekend, they--along with their wildly attractive wives (played by Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, Maya Rudolph) and precocious children--loosen up, try to introduce their kids to the simple pleasures of nature, air some dirty laundry, and rediscover their friendship (Amazon). Popcorn will be provided. Feel free to bring a beverage or snack.

Opera and the Voice at HTFL

Angela Gasparro, Haverford Township Board of Trustee member, was one of 50 people in attendance for an Opera and the Voice lecture given by Michael Bolton, Director of Community Programs of the Opera Company of Philadelphia.
