On Friday, June 12th State Senator Daylin Leach and his staff organized an Alex's Lemonade Stand outside HTFL. This year's stand raised more than $250, with all proceeds going to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to help fight childhood cancer.

Daylin Leach Host Alex's Lemonade Stand

Join State Senator Daylin Leach for a cold drink at Alex's Lemonade Stand in front of HTFL on Friday, June 12th from 10am-2pm.

TONIGHT: Meet the Author - Keith Gilman

On Tuesday, June 16th at 7pm, Keith Gilman, of the Havertown Police, will be at the library to talk about his first mystery novel Father’s Day, awarded the Best First Novel by Private Eye Writers of America.

Copies of Gilman’s book will available to purchase.

Digital TV Clinic

A Federal Communication Commission (FCC) representative will be at the library on Tuesday, June 9th from 10am-2pm to give out information regarding the change to digital and free home installation. There will also be an onsite demonstration of how to set up digital at home.

Welcome Our New Library Director

The Board of Trustees of the Haverford Township Free Library has announced the selection of Richard Thau as its new director. He began his duties at the library on June 1st with a meet-and-greet breakfast attended by the staff and members of the board.
