Casting Call

By popular demand, HTFL will once again present an evening of suspense and mystery. On April 24th, we'll host our 2nd Annual Murder Mystery dinner and we need actors... Open auditions will be held in the HTFL Community Room for the improv dinner theater show, My Alma Martyr. All interested persons are welcome to try on on Thursday, March 19th, at 7pm.

The League of Women Voters of Haverford Township presents a public meeting on the National Popular Vote (NPV) Compact proposal on Wednesday, March 18th at 7:30pm in the HTFL Community Room.

Calling All Mah Jong Players

Join us for Mah Jong at the library. Our group meets on Tuesdays in the Community Room beginning at 11am. Experienced players and beginners welcome!

Mah Jong is traditional Chinese game of skill, strategy, and a little chance (think gin rummy). Each game consists of 4 players, designated East, South, West, and North. The players take turns picking up and discarding tiles with the goal of completing a hand of four sets of three and a pair.
